Cardinals Deal Brown To Steelers

(Tempe, AZ) -- Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is getting some help protecting his blindside. Arizona has agreed to trade left tackle Levi Brown to the Steelers for a conditional late-round draft pick. The 29-year-old was drafted fifth overall by the Cardinals out of Penn State in 2007, but never lived up to expectations.

Bills Battle Browns Thursday Night

(Cleveland, OH) -- A pair of surprising 2-and-2 teams clash on Thursday night as the Buffalo Bills battle the Browns in Cleveland. The Bills are coming off a huge 23-20 home win over the defending champion Baltimore Ravens in Week Four. Buffalo relies heavily on its ground game, which ranks second in the NFL with an average of 152 yards per game. Bills head coach Doug Marrone says he's not necessarily a fan of the Thursday night game.

Brian Hoyer, in place of injured starter Brandon Weeden, has guided the Browns to back-to-back wins after they opened the year with two losses. Cleveland is coming off a 17-6 home victory over Cincinnati last weekend. The Bills have won the last two meetings with the Browns, including a 24-14 triumph in Cleveland last September. The Browns will also pay tribute to Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown at halftime.

Bears WR Marshall Misses Practice

(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Chicago Bears were without wide receiver Brandon Marshall at practice yesterday.  Marshall sat with a foot injury. He is expected to play on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Cornerback Charles Tillman, safety Anthony Walters and defensive tackle Stephen Paea were also out Wednesday.

Rams Release Injury Report

There were four players who did not participate during the Rams' practice Wednesday. Defensive end William Hayes and tackle Rodger Saffold were out with knee injuries.  Cornerback Cortland Finnegan missed Wednesday's session with a thigh injury. Corner Trumaine Johnson was out with an illness. St. Louis plays Jacksonville Sunday.
