Ronnie Hillman ran for 66 yards and a touchdown as Denver moved to 3-and-0 despite turning the ball over two times. Darren McFadden ran for just nine yards on 12 carries but did score a touchdown and hit fellow running back Marcel Reece with a 16-yard touchdown pass for Oakland.  Terrelle Pryor finished with 281 yards passing and a touchdown before departing late in the fourth with a head injury. The Raiders fell to 1-2.

Head coach Marc Trestman confirmed Monday that Melton suffered a torn ACL in Sunday night's win over the Steelers.  Melton was carted off the field in the fourth quarter. The 26-year-old had 13 sacks over the last two seasons, which ranks second in the NFL among defensive tackles in that span. He was playing this season on Chicago's franchise tag.

49ers Place Aldon Smith On Non-Football Injury List

(San Francisco, CA) -- With 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith on his way to an inpatient rehab facility, the team has placed him on the reserve-non-football injury list. Smith will remain there as long as he takes a leave of absence from the team. The Niners have the right not to pay Smith’s salary while he is on the non-football injury list, although there’s been no indication that they plan to do that.
