(Foxboro, MA) -- Tim Tebow is the newest member of the New England Patriots. The polarizing quarterback has signed with the Pats and says he's grateful for another shot in the NFL.

ESPN reports Tebow's deal is for two years with no guaranteed money. He took part in the team's Tuesday minicamp, sporting the number-five. The former Heisman Trophy winner is reunited with Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who was the head coach of the Broncos when Denver drafted Tebow in 2010. Tebow led the Broncos to the playoffs in his second season, but was traded to the New York Jets after Denver signed free-agent quarterback Peyton Manning. Tebow was used sparingly in a variety of roles during his one season with the Jets, and then was released in April.
