Jags' Maurice Jones-Drew Not Charged In Altercation

(St. Augustine, FL) -- Despite a previous report from TMZ.com, Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew has not been charged with battery for an altercation involving a restaurant security guard.  The report stated that the NFL star was facing charges stemming from a fight on Sunday. Jones-Drew's agent says he wasn't involved in such an incident.

 

Former Grand Valley State QB Finnerty Found Dead

(Webber Township, MI) -- Former Grand Valley State quarterback Cullen Finnerty was found dead Tuesday. Finnerty's body was discovered at a campground in Michigan. He had been missing since Sunday after leaving for a fishing trip. Finnerty spent limited time with the Ravens and Broncos and won three Division-Two national championships at GVSU.
