Chiefs Take OT Fisher With First Pick In NFL Draft

(New York, NY) -- Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher was selected first overall in the first round of the NFL Draft yesterday. He was taken by the Kansas City Chiefs, who had the number-one pick for the first time in franchise history. Fisher is just the fourth offensive lineman to be selected with the top pick.

 

Smith, Te'o Undrafted In First Round

(New York, NY) -- West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith and Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o went undrafted in the first round of the NFL Draft last night. Only one QB was taken. Florida State signal EJ Manuel was selected 16th overall by the Buffalo Bills.
