NFL Regular Season Schedule Released

The complete 2013 NFL regular season schedule is out. The defending champion Ravens open on the road against the Broncos Thursday, September 5. The Super Bowl champs typically open at home, but a scheduling conflict with baseball's Orioles forced the league to put the Ravens on the road in Week One.

"Monday Night Football" will open with another doubleheader in 2013. This year's Week One matchups feature the Eagles at the Redskins followed by the Texans at the Chargers. Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin the Third hopes to be ready for Washington's opener as he rehabs from major knee surgery. The Steelers visit the Bengals on Monday night in Week Two.  Other Monday games include Minnesota at the Giants, Chicago at Green Bay, San Francisco at Washington and Dallas at Chicago. The final Monday night game of the season takes place in Week 16 when the 49ers host the Falcons in San Francisco.

Rams Eyeing South Carolina WR

(St. Louis, MO)  --  The Rams could be in line to take South Carolina wideout Ace Sanders at some point in next week's NFL Draft.  According to the "Post-Dispatch," the receiver/return man was brought in last week for a pre-draft visit.  Rams brass, including head coach Jeff Fisher, then went to South Carolina this week to put Sanders through a private workout.''
