Urlacher Talking With Vikings

Linebacker Brian Urlacher is in contact with the Minnesota Vikings.  The "Chicago Tribune" cites a Vikings source saying Urlacher and his people have been in talks with the NFC North rival Vikings.  The source also believes the 34-year-old will stay with the Bears.  Urlacher recorded 68 tackles and an interception in 12 games last season.

Bears Make Moves

The Chicago Bears have released tight ends Kellen Davis and Matt Spaeth.  The moves come one day after signing fellow tight end Martellus Bennett.  The two combined for 25 receptions for 257 yards and three touchdowns last season.  The Bears also let go of defensive tackle Matt Toeaina.  Free agent linebacker Geno Hayes left Chicago to sign with the Jaguars.
