Martha Firestone Ford is stepping down as the owner of the NFL’s Detroit Lions, with her daughter, Sheila Ford Hamp, to take over as principal owner and chairman.

The 94-year-old Firestone Ford took over after her husband, William Clay Ford, died six years ago. Hamp has been the Lions’ vice chairwoman.
