The NFL is adding two more teams to the postseason playoffs. The move from 12 to 14 teams starts with the 2020 season.

The latest word is that the NFL is still planning on a full 16-game season this year but is leaving open the possibility of a delayed start date.

 

Eagles Put Off Payment of Season Tickets

The Philadelphia Eagles are putting off the due date for the second installment payment on season tickets, the team announced. The payment had been due April 16. No new due date has been set.


Godwin Offers Brady His Number

Tom Brady is moving from the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but he’s still Number 12.
Wide receiver Chris Godwin offered his jersey number to Brady, who gratefully accepted, according to the team’s website. Godwin will henceforth be number 14.


Clayborn Signs With Browns

Defensive end Adrian Clayborn has signed with the Cleveland Browns, according to the NFL Network. It’s a two-year deal for a bit under six million dollars. Clayborn most recently played for the Atlanta Falcons and was an All-American at the University of Iowa.
