Panthers Release QB Cam Newton

The Carolina Panthers have released quarterback Cam Newton. During his nine years with the Panthers, Newton earned Rookie of the Year and MVP honors and led the team to the 2015 Super Bowl. Now 30, he has been hampered by shoulder and foot injuries over the past two seasons.

 

Chiefs Sign Jordan Ta'amu

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed XFL quarterback Jordan Ta'amu. Ta’amu played for Ole Miss before signing with the St. Louis BattleHawks for their 2020 relaunch.
