Emmitt Smith's Son Headed To Stanford

It would be hard to find a dad who’s disappointed that his kid is going to Stanford, and Emmitt Smith is no exception.

The ex-Dallas Cowboy and star player at the University of Florida is happy that his son E.J. Smith chose Stanford on national signing day Wednesday. The younger Smith is a running back at Jesuit Dallas high school. “At the end of the day, my son has his own journey, and it is his journey, not my journey,” his dad said at a joint press conference.
