Patriots Waive Kai Forbath

The New England Patriots have waived veteran kicker Kai Forbath after just one game. The move came one day after Forbath missed an extra point attempt in the Patriots' loss to the Houston Texans. No word on who they’ll go with as the Patriots don’t have another kicker on their active roster.

Washington Coach To Step Down

Washington coach Chris Petersen has announced that he’ll step down following the team’s bowl game and will assume a leadership advisory role for Husky Athletics. Defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake will take over as the new head coach for the Huskies.
