Bengals Become First Team Eliminated From Playoffs

The Cincinnati Bengals lost to the Oakland Raiders Sunday and became the first NFL team this season to be eliminated from playoff contention. It was the 12th loss in a row for the Bengals, who last won on Week 15 of 2018.

 

Gronkowski To Make Announcement

Rob Gronkowski says he’ll be making some sort of announcement Monday morning at 9 a.m. Gronkowski didn’t say what the announcement is about, but the deadline for him to announce if he'll un-retire this year and rejoin the Patriots is November 30.

 

Stafford May Be Out Six Weeks

The back injury to Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford may have been worse than previously thought. The team had said Stafford would be week-to-week, but it’s now believed that he’ll be out six weeks.

 

Kaepernick Held Workout Session

Colin Kaepernick held his workout session on Saturday, despite making a last-minute venue change when the NFL wouldn’t allow the press to cover it. So far, Kaepernick’s reps haven’t heard from any teams with either an invitation to work out privately or a contract offer.

 

Alabama To Undergo Surgery

Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will undergo hip surgery today in Houston. Tagovailoa dislocated his hip during Saturday’s game against Mississippi State. 

 

LSU Remained No. 1

LSU remained No. 1 in the Associated Press Top 25 college football poll, with Ohio State and Clemson next. Georgia moved up one place to fourth, while Alabama dropped a spot to fifth.
