Redskins' Williams Reveals Cancer

Washington Redskins tackle Trent Williams revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer six years ago and that distrust of the team’s medical staff and the organization played a part in his lengthy holdout. Williams said he had a tumor removed from his skull and that his outlook on life has changed.

 

Patriots Release Gordon Off IR

The New England Patriots have released wide receiver Josh Gordon off injured reserve. Other teams will now be able to claim Gordon off waivers. 

 

Bronc's Flacco Won't Need Surgery

Doctors have told Denver Broncos quarterback Joe Flacco that he won’t need surgery on the bulging disk in his neck. However, it’s expected that Flacco will be out 4-6 weeks.
