New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees says he’s ready to go for this Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Brees is coming back from a thumb injury, but coach Sean Payton said he might wait until Sunday to name his starting quarterback.

Patriot's Gordon On IL

The New England Patriots have placed receiver Josh Gordon on injured reserve, effectively ending his season. The Patriots are expected to waive him after he comes off the IR.

Chief's QB Practices With Team

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes practiced with the team Wednesday, less than a week after dislocating his right kneecap during Thursday night’s win over the Denver Broncos. However, coach Andy Reid has yet to name a starter for Sunday night's game against the Green Bay Packers.
