Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey will play tonight against the Tennessee Titans. Ramsey has asked the team for a trade, but putting him in the lineup would seem to indicate that they’re not close to a deal.

Newton Misses Another Day of Practice

Cam Newton missed his second straight day of practice Wednesday and it’s looking more likely that backup quarterback Kyle Allen will start Sunday against the Cardinals. However, Panthers coach Ron Rivera has yet to name a starter.

Brees Has Thumb Surgery

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees underwent thumb surgery Wednesday and coach Sean Payton said they’ll approach Sunday’s game against Seattle with two quarterbacks. Payton says he may use both Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill to keep the Seahawks defense off guard.

Chiefs Injured List Gets Longer

The Kansas City Chiefs injured list just got a bit longer as left tackle Eric Fisher will undergo surgery on a core muscle injury. The Chiefs said Fisher hurt his groin in practice late last week, and he lasted just three snaps in Sunday's win over Oakland before spending the rest of the game on the sideline.

Colts Waive Chad Kelly

The Indianapolis Colts have waived quarterback Chad Kelly following his two-game suspension. However, the team could re-sign Kelly to their practice squad if he clears waivers.

Browns' Njoku Breaks Wrist

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku not only suffered a concussion in their win over the Jets, it’s now been revealed he also broke his right wrist. It’s not known yet if Njoku will need to undergo surgery.
