Cowboys' Quinn Suspended, Pre-Season Scores

The NFL has suspended Dallas Cowboys defensive end Robert Quinn for two games for violating the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs. Quinn has been sidelined with a hand injury, but the team says he should be ready to go by the time the suspension ends.


Rookie Nick Bosa Out For Pre-Season

San Francisco 49ers rookie defensive lineman Nick Bosa is out for the pre-season with an ankle sprain. The team says Bosa will be re-evaluated for Week 1, and they’ll go from there.


Raiders' Jackson Carted Off  Field

Oakland Raiders right guard Gabe Jackson had to be carted off the field during yesterday's joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams due to a left leg injury. Jackson was later seen on crutches and wearing a brace, although the team has yet to determine the severity of the injury.
 

Lions' Kearse Breaks Leg

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jermaine Kearse broke a leg and tweaked an ankle in Thursday night’s preseason opener against the New England Patriots. It’s not yet known how much time Kearse will miss.


Nate Sudfeld Injures Arm

Philadelphia quarterback Nate Sudfeld left the sideline on a cart after injuring his left arm on a late hit in Thursday night’s preseason opener against Tennessee. Sudfeld is slated to replace Nick Foles as backup after Foles signed with Jacksonville.


Texans Acquire Duke Johnson

The Houston Texans have acquired disgruntled running back Duke Johnson from the Cleveland Browns. In return, Houston will send a conditional 2020 fourth-round pick to Cleveland.
