NFL Announces 100th Season Opener

The NFL has announced that its 100th season will open with its oldest rivalry as the Green Bay Packers will travel to Soldier Field to take on the Chicago Bears on Thursday, September 5.

The defending Super Bowl champion typically hosts the NFL’s first game of the season, but the New England Patriots will instead host that weekend’s first Sunday Night Football game.


Gaines Signs To Return To Bills

Cornerback E.J. Gaines has signed a deal to return to the Buffalo Bills. Last season, Gaines played with the Cleveland Browns, starting two games and playing in six before ending the year on injured reserve list with a concussion.

 

Georgia Football Players Arrested

Georgia Bulldogs football players Tyler Simmons and Tyrique Stevenson were arrested and charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct following a bar fight early Sunday morning. The school has yet to comment on the arrests.
