Greenville University is looking to fill a need for linemen in the upcoming season. The university is looking to help fill that need with Effingham High School senior Matthew Hites.

Greenville Assistant Coach Josh Flannery said he's heard good things about Hites from EHS Coach Brett Hefner. Hefner said Hites' work to develop himself physically and his "coachability" are pluses.

A signing ceremony for Hites was held Monday afternoon at EHS. On hand for the ceremony were (SEATED LEFT TO RIGHT) Natasha Hites (STEPMOM), Mackynzie Hites (SISTER), Matthew Hites, and Matt Hites (DAD) and (STANDING LEFT TO RIGHT) EHS Head Football Coach Brett Hefner and Marcus Hites (BROTHER).
