The Kansas City Chiefs have made their first post-season move and have fired defensive coordinator Bob Sutton. The Chiefs had the league’s 31st-ranked defense despite getting to the AFC Championship game.

Two New Orleans Saints season ticket holders have gone to court to ask a judge to order NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to implement a league rule governing "extraordinarily unfair acts." According to league rules, the commissioner has the power to reverse a game's result or order the game to be replayed in its entirety or from the point when the act occurred.


NFL Looking at Expanding Replay Reviews

Following the NFC Championship game officiating debacle, the NFL will reportedly consider expanding replay reviews to include certain penalties, including pass interference. The competition committee evaluates such matters on an annual basis, but this year it may get more serious consideration.
