The Super Bowl matchup is set. Both AFC and NFC Championship games went to overtime as the Los Angeles Rams came back from a 13-0 deficit to beat the New Orleans Saints 26-23.

Meanwhile, the New England Patriots earned their third trip to the Super Bowl in a row by downing the Kansas City Chiefs in an extra time see-saw battle, 37-31. It’ll be a rematch of the 2002 Super Bowl, won by the Patriots, 20-17

Head of Officials Say Refs Blew Call

New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton said the NFL's head of officials told him the referees "blew the call" by not penalizing the Los Angeles Rams for pass interference late in the fourth quarter of the NFC Championship Game. Payton said he and the Saints will "probably never get over it."

Oddsmakers Make Super Bowl Tossup

Las Vegas oddsmakers made the Super Bowl pretty much a tossup in opening lines Sunday, although bettors quickly turned the New England Patriots into a slight favorite. This is expected to be the most heavily bet on Super Bowl ever.

Chiefs Expected To Sign Mahomes

The Kansas City Chiefs are expected to sign Patrick Mahomes to a contract extension after the 2019 season and, despite losing in the AFC Championship game, sources say it could be the NFL's first $200 million deal.
