Redskins Lose Second QB To Broken Leg

For the second time in three weeks, the Washington Redskins lost a starting quarterback to a broken leg. After losing Alex Smith, Colt McCoy fractured his right fibula last night against Philadelphia and is done for the season. The newly-signed Mark Sanchez took over for McCoy.


Hunt Violence Continues To Surface

Another report of violence involving former Kansas City Chief Kareem Hunt has surfaced. Hunt and at least one other teammate allegedly beat up a man in a Kansas City nightclub back in January. The incident is the third allegation of violence involving Hunt this year.


Chargers Release Barksdale

The Los Angeles Chargers have released right tackle Joe Barksdale. The move came a day after Barksdale was a late scratch from the team's victory over Pittsburgh due to personal reasons. Barksdale revealed earlier this year he's been dealing with depression and uses music to cope with his condition.


Finalists Named For Heisman Trophy

Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa, Oklahoma's Kyler Murray and Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins have been named finalists for the 84th Heisman Trophy. The trophy will be presented on Saturday night in New York.
