EHS' Kendall Ballman Named IHSFCA All-State

Effingham High School senior Kendall Ballman was named to the Class 4A Illinois High School Football Coaches Association All-State Team.

Ballman is a 5-foot-9, 150-pound senior defensive back.

Other area Class 4A players were Brandon Odam, a senior quarterback from Taylorville High School, Sutton Dunn, a senior WR/DB from Olney, Jacob Gates, a senior defensive lineman from Paris, Nic Seelhoefer, a senior linebacker from Breese Mater Dei and Tyshon King, a senior running back from Bishop McNamara.

In Class 3A, Newton High School's Bryce Hance was named. Hance is a 6-foot-4, 245-pound senior defensive end.

In Class 5A, Mattoon's Jackson Nichols was named. Nichols is a 6-foot-3, 185-pound senior defensive lineman.
