NFL Fires Official Hugo Cruz

The NFL has fired official Hugo Cruz after he missed a false start call in the Chargers-Browns game.

It’s the first time in at least half a century that the NFL has fired an official during a season. While the NFL Referees’ Association criticized the move, the NFL says it wasn’t just that call that got him fired.
