Broncos Waive QB Chad Kelly

The Denver Broncos have waived quarterback Chad Kelly a day after he was arrested for trespassing. A couple allegedly found Kelly sitting on their sofa at 1 a.m. mumbling incoherently to himself, although police said alcohol was not involved.

Jets Place Powell On Injured Reserve

The New York Jets have placed running back Bilal Powell on injured reserve after he suffered a neck injury in the team’s loss to Minnesota last week. Powell will have neck surgery in the near future, but the team says the injury could be career-ending.

Giants' Trade Harrison

The New York Giants have traded former All-Pro nose guard Damon Harrison to the Detroit Lions for a fifth round pick. The deal comes one day after dealing Eli Apple to New Orleans.
