Rams Hand Vikings, 38-31 Loss

LOS ANGELES -- The Minnesota Vikings gave up 28 points before halftime and the Los Angeles Rams took a 38-31 victory Thursday night.

Jared Goff passed for 465 yards and five touchdowns to lead the unbeaten Rams. Goff connected with Cooper Kupp for two of his four touchdown tosses and totaled 251 yards in the first half. Goff finished with 26 of 33.

Minnesota's Kirk Cousins passed for 422 yards and three touchdowns


Panthers Sign Reid to Contract

The Carolina Panthers have signed free agent safety Eric Reid to a 1-year contract. Reid had filed a collusion grievance against the NFL, believing he was being blackballed for kneeling with Colin Kaepernick during the national anthem at NFL games.


Eagles' McLeod Undergoes Surgery

Philadelphia Eagles safety Rodney McLeod has undergone surgery to repair an MCL tear he suffered on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts and is done for the season.


Broncos; Butt Suffers Knee Injury

Denver Broncos tight end Jake Butt suffered a non-contact knee injury during practice yesterday. An MRI revealed a torn ACL and the team says he’s out for the season.
