The Philadelphia Eagles say quarterback Carson Wentz has been medically cleared for contact and will start against the Colts at home Sunday.

It’ll be Wentz’s first game back since he tore his ACL and LCL in Week 14 against the Rams last season.

Browns Trade Gordon, Sign Joseph

The Cleveland Browns traded wide receiver Josh Gordon to the New England Patriots for a 2019 fifth-round pick. However, the Patriots will get a seventh-round pick from the Browns if Gordon isn’t active for 10 games. To make room for Gordon on the roster, the Patriots released wide receiver Corey Coleman.

The Cleveland Browns have signed Greg Joseph as their new kicker, replacing Zane Gonzalez. Gonzalez got the boot after he missed a field goal in their tie with the Steelers in Week One and then missed four kicks in Sunday’s loss to the Saints.

Vikings Sign Robinson

The Minnesota Vikings have signed wide receiver Aldrick Robinson and waived kicker Daniel Carlson. Carlson was 1-for-4 on field goals and 6-for-6 on extra points this season.

Rams' Kicker Out For Few Weeks

The Los Angeles Rams say kicker Greg Zuerlein will be out a few weeks after injuring his groin during pregame warm-ups before the team’s win over Arizona.
