Effingham Back in State Rankings

Effingham High School has moved back into the Class 4A State Football rankings.
The Hearts captured a big Apollo Conference win over Mount Zion last Friday night and have moved into eighth place with a 2-1 record.
Others receiving votes in Class 4A are Taylorville and Mount Zion.
Newton is in the others receiving votes in Class 3A.
Here are the latest rankings of Illinois high school football teams in each class, according to an Associated Press panel of sportswriters:
