Buck Bowl, Media Day Scheduled Aug. 18-19

The Effingham High School Buck Bowl will be held Friday, August 18 at Effingham High School's Klosterman Field, beginning at 6 p.m.

A rundown of the evening's events are:

6 p.m. -- Freshmen player introductions

6:15 p.m. -- Freshmen individual offense

6:25 p.m. -- Freshmen group pass

6:40 p.m. -- Freshmen individual defense

6:55 p.m. -- Freshmen punt team

7 p.m. -- Varsity and sophomor warm up

7:10 p.m. -- Player introductions

7:15 pm.. -- Individual offense

7:30 p.m. -- Inside run

7:45 p.m. -- Group pass

8 p.m. -- Punt team

8:05 p.m. -- Individual defense

8:25 p.m. -- PAT/FG

The Football Moms will be running a concession stand to include sandwich, chips and a drink for $5.

Admission is $2 per person or $5 per family. All proceeds will help support the Football Moms organization.

Media day will be held Saturday, August 19. All photographs will be taken at EHS Klosterman Field. In case of poor weather, photos will be taken in the B Gym.

8 a.m. -- Co-ed fall soccer

8:15 a.m. -- Boys golf

8:25 a.m. -- Girls golf

8:35 a.m. -- Cheerleaders, varsity and junior varsity

8:45 a.m -- Freshmen volleyball

9 a.m. -- Junior varsity volleyball

9:15 a.m. -- Varsity volleyball

9:20 a.m. -- Girls tennis

9:30 a.m. -- Girls cross country

9:40 a.m. -- Boys cross country

10 a.m. -- Varsity football

10:25 a.m. -- Sophomore football

10:45 a.m. -- Freshmen football
