Effingham BuckBowl Scheduled Saturday, Aug. 22

Effingham High School's BuckBowl will take place Saturday, August 22 at Klosterman Field.

The Effingham Football Mom's concession stand will be open from 5-7:20 p.m. and will serve brats, hotdogs, popcorn and soft drinks.

The football team will warm up at 5:15 p.m. Introduction of cheerleaders, with sponsor April Karpus-Weddle, will be at 6 p.m.

The introduction of freshman football staff and players will be held at 6:10 p.m. A freshman scrimmage, with two 12 play segments, will be held at 6:20 p.m.

The introduction of football staff, sophomore, junior and senior footall players will be held at 6:35 p.m. New head coach Brett Hefner will make the introductions.

A varsity scrimmage (sophomores through seniors) with three 10 play segments will be held at 6:45 p.m. Special teams plays will be at 7:10 p.m.

Admission is $2 per person or $5 per family. Proceeds will help support the Football Moms' activities.
