(Arlington, TX) -- Kai Forbath booted a 40-yard field goal in overtime and the Redskins defense held on to give Washington a 20-17 win over the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. Colt McCoy threw for 299 yards with an interception and ran for a touchdown as the 'Skins improved to 3-5 on the season. DeSean Jackson made six catches for 136 yards while Alfred Morris ran for 73 yards and a TD in the win.

Tony Romo threw for 209 yards and a touchdown in defeat and left the game in the third quarter with an apparent back injury. He returned late in the fourth and played through overtime. DeMarco Murray ran for 141 yards and made four catches for 80 yards as Dallas fell to 6-2. Jason Witten finished with 70 yards and a touchdown receiving while Dez Bryant made three catches for 30 yards and a score in defeat.


Bears' DE Houston Tears ACL

(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Bears will play the rest of this season without defensive end Lamarr Houston. General manager Phil Emery confirmed the news that Houston suffered a torn ACL while celebrating a sack on Sunday against the New England Patriots. Houston injured himself in the fourth quarter.


Rams Lose Long To Torn ACL

(Earth City, MO) -- The Rams are losing a key piece to their offensive line. ESPN reports the team will be without offensive tackle Jake Long for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL. An MRI revealed the injury after Long left Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Rams will play the remainder of the season without wide receiver Brian Quick. ESPN reports Quick is done for the year with a dislocated shoulder and torn rotator cuff. He was leading the team with 375 receiving yards this season.

The Rams hit the practice field Wednesday to gear up for their Week Nine contest against the San Francisco 49ers. St. Louis will travel to Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara for the conteSt. The Rams previously lost a Monday night game to the Niners in Week Six.
