(Foxboro, MA) -- Nick Folk's game-winning 58-yard field goal attempt was blocked by Chris Jones, and the Patriots held on to beat the Jets 27-25 at Gillette Stadium. Tom Brady completed 20-of-37 passes for 261 yards and three touchdowns. Shane Vereen caught a pair of TDs and tallied 114 total yards while Danny Amendola snagged a 19-yard score.

New England improved to 5-and-2 with its third straight win. Geno Smith tossed for 226 yards and a 10-yard touchdown strike to Jeff Cumberland to make it a two-point game late in the fourth quarter. They would fail to convert on the two-point conversion. Chris Ivory anchored the ground game with 107 yards and a score and Chris Johnson chipped in with 61 yards on 13 carries. New York dropped its sixth game in-a-row to fall to 1-6 on the season.


Bears Battle Dolphins

(Chicago, IL) -- The Bears welcome the Dolphins to Soldier Field on Sunday. Chicago is 3-3 after a win over the Falcons in Atlanta last weekend. The Dolphins almost beat the Packers last Sunday, losing on a late TD pass. They are 2-3.


Rams Host Seahawks Sunday

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Rams face their second straight NFC West foe Sunday when they host the Seahawks at the Edward Jones Dome. The Rams blew an early 14-0 lead in a 31-17 loss to San Francisco on Monday. The Rams are now 1-4. Seattle is 3-2 after losing to Dallas last Sunday.
