Rams Return To Practice

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Rams return to the practice field today in preparation for Sunday's game against the Eagles in Philadelphia. The Rams are coming off their bye week. St. Louis is 1-2 after a Week Three home loss to Dallas. Philadelphia is 3-and-1 after suffering its first loss Sunday in San Francisco.

The Rams will have to decide if it will be Austin Davis or Shaun Hill at quarterback on Sunday. Hill began the season under center, but suffered a quad injury in Week One against Minnesota. Davis has played since, but head coach Jeff Fisher has maintained Hill will start if healthy

Bears Waive Ross, Promote Williams

(Lake Forest, IL) -- The Bears made two moves Tuesday as they prepare for practice. Chicago waived wideout Rashad Ross and promoted receiver Chris Williams from the practice squad. Ross was on special teams, posting 106 yards on five kickoffs the last two games.

Raiders Name Sparano Interim Head Coach

(Oakland, CA) -- Tony Sparano is the interim head coach of the Oakland Raiders. The Silver and Black have promoted their offensive line coach to fill the spot of fired head coach Dennis Allen. General Manager Reggie McKenzie says they couldn't stick with the status quo any longer.

The 52-year-old Sparano previously spent parts of four seasons as head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 2008-to-2011. The Dolphins went 29-32 during that span, winning the AFC East in Sparano's first season. Allen was fired Monday after an 0-4 start and was just 8-28 in two-plus seasons with Oakland.
