Northwestern and Northern Illinois are both outside of the top 25 in the first college football coaches poll. The Wildcats received five votes while the Huskies had one. Northwestern ended last year 5-7, and NIU was 12-2. Notre Dame is 17th in the poll.  


Bears Continue Camp

(Bourbonnais, IL) -- The Bears host Day Eight of training camp at Olivet Nazarene University today. It kicks off at 9 a.m. and runs to 11:30. Chicago hosts Family Fest at Soldier Field tomorrow night. The first preseason game is August 8th against the Eagles. In other team news, the Bears signed offensive tackle Dennis Roland and waived offensive tackle Cody Booth.


Rams Back In Action

(Earth City, MO) -- The Rams were back on the training field on Thursday with several faces joining them for the first time. Jake Long and William Hayes took the field, which was the first time the projected starting offensive line worked together. The Rams are a week away from opening their preseason schedule against the Saints.
