New Bears WR Morgan Arrested

(Washington, DC) -- Newly-acquired Bears wide receiver Josh Morgan isn't off to the best start with his new team. Morgan was arrested early Sunday outside a nightclub in DC. He was charged with a misdemeanor of simple assault. Morgan was signed last week after two years with the Redskins.

Three Bears are in the NFL Players Inc. top 50 list of jersey sales for the fiscal year. Wide Receiver Brandon Marshall is 31st on the list, quarterback Jay Cutler is 36th while running back Matt Forte is 49th. Seahawks QB Russell Wilson owns the top spot.


Rams Exercise Quinn's Fifth-Year Option

(St. Louis, MO) -- The Rams are exercising pass-rusher Robert Quinn's fifth-year option. The 14th overall pick in the 2011 draft class is the 12th player to have his option picked up from that draft. St. Louis will pay him over $6.9-million for the 2015 season.
