QB's Freeman, Weber Visit Bears

(Lake Forest, IL) -- Free-agent quarterbacks Josh Freeman and Adam Weber paid a visit to the Bears Monday. Each worked out with the team along with tight end Matthew Mulligan. ESPN reports that the Bears do not intend to pursue Freeman, who played with the Bucs and Vikings.


Rams Could Trade No. 2 Pick

(Earth City, MO) -- The Rams could be shopping the second-overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. TheMMQB.com reports that general manager Les Snead has been talking to teams to gauge interest. The Rams also own the 13th-overall selection in the draft.  


CAPA President Hopeful Northwestern Players Unionize

The College Athletes Players Association president is hopeful Northwestern football players will unionize. Ramogi Huma tells ESPN players have every reason to vote in favor of it. Some players have recently indicated they will vote against it on April 25.
