The Eagles won with 23 points followed by Robinson 55 and Marshall 57. Other teams competing but not having enough runners for a team score were Olney, Paris, Casey-Westfield, Mount Carmel and Lawrenceville.
Olney's Holden Hough won the meet with a time of 16:22.9.
Scoring for Newton were Clay Bergbower in second with a time of 16:31.2, Nick Shamhart fifth at 16:55.3, Owen Mahaffey in sixth at 17:07.8, Luis Zavala eighth in 17:16.1 and Ben Street eighth in 17:19.3
The top 10 runners earn Little Illini All-Conference honors.
In the girls meet, Marshall was the winner with 46 points followed by Robinson 50, Olney 63, Newton 63 and Paris 129. Casey-Westfield had runners but not enough for a team score.
Winning was Olney's Tatum David with a time of 17:23.0.
Scoring for Newton were Layna Marshall fourth in 19:35.6, Alexis Hetzer 10th in 20:50.6, Shay Bennett 14th in 21:27.7, Natalie Kistner 15th in 21:39.9 and Ella Radke 26th in 22:51.8.
