Jasper County Claims Sectional C.C. Title

Jasper County claimed the championship of the boys Sectional L Cross Country Meet at Marshall Saturday.

Jasper County's Wade Wickham nabbed first place with a time of 11:54 as the team won the sectional title.

Jasper County tallied 56 followed by Paris Mayo 76, Robinson 83, Teutopolis 86, Marshall 87 and Cumberland 95.

Scoring for Jasper County, along with Wickham, were Isaac Street 10th in 13:00.8, Turner Tarr 11th in 13:05.4, Dalton Marshall 15th in 13:48.7 and Caleb Flash 19th in 14:09.2.

In the girls' meet, Robinson Nuttall was the team champion with 30 points followed by Jasper County 35 and Marshall 60.

Marshall's Molly Farrell won the meet with a time of 12:25.6.
