Area Teams Compete At Paris C.C. Invitational

PARIS -- Several area teams competed in the Paris boys and girls high school cross country invitationals Saturday.

In the girls meet, Marshall claimed first place with 28 points followed by St. Joseph-Ogden 34, Teutopolis 98, Paris 104 and Okaw Valley 112. Competing but not having enough team members for scores were Effingham, Cumberland, Chrisman, Casey-Westfield and Tri-County.

The top finisher was Isabel Arthur with a time fo 18:25.1 from Marshall.

Teutopolis finishes were: 6. Jessica Runde, 20:42.3; 32. Abby Bloemer, 23:22.0; 33. Tory Tensen, 23:32.7; 45. Hope Bueker, 26:05.0; 46. Aubrey Collins, 26:05.6; 49.. Kylie Hoelscher, 27:11.0; 50.. Ella Zumbahlen, 27:11.1; 51. 51. Katie Kingery, 27:12.5

Effingham finishes were: 13. Marah Kirk, 21:14.2; 20. Kiley Weaver, 21:52.2; 28. Nicole Schniederjon, 23:02.1; 43. Hope Monnet, 25:45.9

Cumberland finishes were: 9. Jasmyn Dittamore, 21:05.4; 52. Olivia Pruemer, 27:44.8; 25. Eve Brown, 22:28.6

In the boys meet, St. Joseph-Ogden won with 25 points followed by Marshall 49, Cumberland 79, Effingham 99, Teutopolis 107, Paris 166, Tri-County 175 and Hutsonville/Palestine 240. Non-counters were Chrisman, Okaw Valley and Casey-Westfield.
