Dieterich Captures Boys Cross Country Victory

DIETERICH -- Dieterich High School picked up a boys cross country victory over Altamont Monday, 23-32.

Altamont's Derek Budde won the meet with a time of 16:12. But Dieterich captured the next two spots and put all five scorers in the top seven positions. Seth Bohnhoff finished second in 16:43, Jarad Sparling third in 17:22, Levi Slifer fifth in 17:56, Tyler Abbott sixth in 18:16 and Wyatte Brummer seventh in 18:37.

The girls ran but no team scores were kept. Altamont's Gia Sandoval won in 19:47. Dieterich's Gracie Britton took second in 20:44.
