St. Anthony Wins ECC Meet Saturday

The St. Anthony Bulldogs won the Girls ECC Meet Saturday.

St. Anthony won the meet with 43 points.

Teutopolis finished third with 79 points, Cumberland fifth with 101 points, and CHBC sixth with 102 points. Dieterich also had four girls compete.

Kara Weichman of Teutopolis was the individual champion in 19:15.01. 

St. Anthony scores: Sarah Carr 2nd in 19:27.10, Kaitlyn Zeller eighth in 21:46.99, Kristin Slaughter ninth in 21:49.86, Katherine Slaughter 10th in 21:52.20, Kendall Fonner 14th in 22:12.56, Rachel Wortman 24th in 24:01.11, and Jessica Wilson 26th in 24:17.82.

Dieterich scores: Gracie Britton 23:23.71, Kaitlyn Bloemer 25:14.34, Andrea Bierman 25:45.63, and Mikala Klay 41:08.64.

Meanwhile, Teutopolis finished second in the boys meet. Lawrenceville/Red Hill won the boys meet with 32 points. Teutopolis finished with 80 points. Cumberland fourth with 91 points, CHBC fifth with 121 points, St. Anthony sixth with 162 points, Dieterich seventh with 164 points.

Kort McClellan of Cumberland was the overall winner in 15:53.26. Jordan Schumacher and Noah Probst of Teutopolis finished ninth and 10th in 17:12.56 and 17:14.97, respectively.
