Pacers Rock Hawks

(Indianapolis, IN) -- The Pacers started off their post All-Star break action strong by pounding the Hawks, 108-96, behind 26 points from Paul George.  David West added 17 points and six rebounds, while Lance Stephenson chipped in 13 points with seven helpers and five boards. Indiana sits at 41-12. Atlanta turned the ball over 22 times and was held to 26 points in the paint. Lou Williams tallied 18 points off the bench and Kyle Korver hit five threes on his was to 19. Atlanta fell back under .500 at 25-26.


Cavaliers Thump Sixers

(Philadelphia, PA) -- Tyler Zeller's 18 points and 15 rebounds led the Cavaliers to a 114-85 win over the 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center. Tristan Thompson added 12 points and 10 boards and All-Star MVP Kyrie Irving had 14 points. Anthony Bennett logged 10 points and 11 rebounds off the bench. The Cavs have won five straight dating back to February 7th.  Thaddeus Young and Michael Carter-Williams finished with 15 points each for Philly. The Sixers reached a season-high nine-game losing streak.


Bobcats Dump Pistons

(Auburn Hills, MI) -- The Bobcats put some separation between themselves and the Pistons with a 108-96 win at The Palace of Auburn Hills behind 32 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists from Al Jefferson. Charlotte leads Detroit by two-and-a-half games for the eighth and final spot in the Eastern Conference playoff picture. Kemba Walker added 22 points, six helpers and four boards for Charlotte. Andre Drummond tallied 16 points and 22 boards in the loss. Greg Monroe and Josh Smith also had double-doubles. Brandon Jennings put up a team-high 24 points, but shot 7-of-18 from the field.


Grizzlies Knock Off Knicks

(Memphis, TN) -- Mike Conley dropped in 22 points in his return from injury as the Grizzlies knocked off the Knicks 98-93 at FedExForum. Conley had missed seven games with a sprained right ankle. Mike Miller had 19 off the bench and Zach Randolph added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Grizz, who have won three in-a-row. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored a game-high 23 points to lead New York, which has lost three straight and six of its last seven overall. Carmelo Anthony had 22 points and 11 rebounds, but shot just 8-of-22 from the field.


Bucks Sneak Past Magic

(Milwaukee, WI) -- Caron Butler knocked down seven from deep on his way to 21 points off the bench as the Bucks picked off the Magic, 104-100, at the Bradley Center. Brandon Knight added 18 points largely by going 12-of-12 from the free throw line for Milwaukee, which earned its 10th win of the season. They were the final team in the league to hit double-digit victories. Arron Afflalo posted 21 points in the loss. Jameer Nelson dished out 13 assists, while Nikola Vucevic missed out on a double-double with 19 points and nine boards.  Orlando fell to 16-39.


Heat Use Big Fourth Quarter To Down Mavericks

(Dallas, TX) -- LeBron James scored a season-high 42 points to go with nine rebounds and six assists as the Heat downed the Mavericks 117-106 at American Airlines Center.  Miami outscored Dallas 33-21 in the fourth quarter to pull out the win. Chris Bosh netted 22 points and Chris Anderson added 18 off the bench for the Heat, who have won three in-a-row and nine of their last 11 overall. Dirk Nowitzki notched 22 points, nine boards and seven assists to pace the Mavs, who have lost two-of-three since a five-game winning streak.  Vince Carter chipped in with 15 points and seven boards in defeat.


Suns Nip Nuggets In OT

(Denver, CO) -- Gerald Green dropped in a career-high 36 points as the Suns nipped the Nuggets 112-107 in overtime at the Pepsi Center. Goran Dragic donated 21 points and 14 assists for Phoenix, which has won two-of-three. Markieff Morris added 13 points and 12 boards off the bench and P.J. Tucker tallied 13 points and 11 rebounds in the victory. Evan Fournier netted 25 points off the pine to lead the Nuggets, who have lost five in-a-row. Kenneth Faried had 21 points and 10 boards in the setback.


Spurs Drop Clippers

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Guard Patty Mills proved to be a more than capable fill-in for banged-up star Tony Parker.  Mills scored 25 points and added five rebounds and five assists as the Spurs defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 113-103 at STAPLES Center. Tim Duncan added 19 points and 13 rebounds and All-Star Three-Point champion Marco Belinelli added 20 points. The Spurs maintained the West's best record at 39-15. The Clips got 35 points and 12 rebounds from All-Star Blake Griffin. Jamal Crawford added 25 points. Chris Paul made only one of 10 shots and finished with 11 points. L.A. had won three straight going into the All-Star break.


Bulls Face Raptors Tonight

(Toronto, Ontario) -- The Bulls open up the second half of the season tonight in Toronto against the Raptors. Chicago enters the contest at 27-25. The Raptors are 29-24 after winning at Washington last night. Tip from the Air Canada Centre is set for 6:00.
