Bulls Beat Up Hawks

(Chicago, IL) -- Joakim Noah's triple-double carried the Bulls to a 100-85 win against the Hawks at the United Center. Noah posted 19 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists for Chicago, which got back above .500 at 26-25. Taj Gibson tallied a game-high 24 points along with 12 boards and five helpers. Paul Milsap shot 6-of-15 from the field, but led Atlanta with 15 points. Louis Williams chipped in 13 off the bench. The Hawks fell to .500 at 25-25 with their fourth straight loss.

 

Bobcats Blast Mavericks

(Charlotte, NC) -- Al Jefferson poured in a game-high 30 points to go with eight rebounds as the Bobcats blasted the Mavericks 114-89 at Time Warner Cable Arena. Anthony Tolliver tallied 22 points off the bench and Gerald Henderson had 15 points for the 'Cats, who have won four of their last six. Josh McRoberts added 13 assists and nine points in the victory. Dirk Nowitzki and Monta Ellis were the only players in double figures for the Mavs with 16 points apiece. Dallas had its five-game winning streak snapped.


Cavaliers Dump Kings

(Cleveland, OH) -- The Cavaliers kept rolling with a 109-99 victory against the Kings at Quicken Loans Arena behind 22 points from Luol Deng. Cleveland has won three in-a-row to jump to 19-33. First-overall pick Anthony Bennett posted his first career double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. DeMarcus Cousins paced Sacramento with 21 points and 10 boards. Isaiah Thomas added 16 points and eight assists, while Rudy Gay contributed 14 points and nine boards. The Kings have lost three straight.


Grizzlies Hold Wizards

(Memphis, TN) -- John Wall missed a three-pointer on the Wizards' final possessions as they fell to the Grizzlies, 92-89, at the FedExForum. Nick Calathes posted 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the win. Marc Gasol also tallied 18 points with seven boards and three helpers for Memphis, which had lost three of its previous four.  Bradley Beal went off for a career-high 37 points on 15-of-24 shooting with five from deep. His backcourt mate Wall struggled missing 8-of-10 shots and was held to five points. It was only the third time this season Wall has scored single digits. The Wizards have lost three of four.


Heat Hold Off Suns

(Phoenix, AZ) -- LeBron James racked up 37 points, nine rebounds and five steals as the Heat held on to beat the Suns 103-97 at US Airways Center. Chris Bosh notched 21 points and eight boards and Mario Chalmers chipped in with 13 points for Miami, which has won four of its last five games. Gerald Green scored 26 points to pace the Suns, who have lost three-of-four to enter the All-Star break at 30-21. Goran Dragic donated 15 points and nine assists, while Channing Frye added 15 points and six boards in defeat.


Thunder Halt Blazers

(Portland, OR) -- The Thunder outscored the Trail Blazers by 13 in the second half to pull out a 98-96 win at the Moda Center behind 36 points and 10 rebounds from Kevin Durant. The two teams split their four-game season series. Reggie Jackson added in 17 points, six rebounds and five assists, while Jeremy Lamb put up 19 off the bench. Oklahoma City has won four of five and play their final game before the All-Star break on Thursday at the Lakers. LaMarcus Aldridge shot 5-of-22 from the field with 12 points and 12 rebounds in the loss. Nicolas Batum had a team-high 18 points for Portland, which shot 37-percent as a team. The Blazers are 5-7 in their last 12 games.


Jazz Rock Lakers

(Los Angeles, CA) -- The Jazz outscored the Lakers by 22 in the second quarter on the way to a 96-79 win at the STAPLES Center. Alex Burks posted 24 points off the bench, while Gordon Hayward tallied 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.  Utah has won two in-a-row. Los Angeles guard Steve Nash didn't play in the second because of nerve issues with his back. Chris Kaman dropped a game-high 25 points with 14 rebounds and four assists. The Lakers have lost six straight at home.
