Dieterich Bounces Ramsey in Girls H.S. Action

Dieterich High School bounced Ramsey in non-conference girls high school basketball competition Wednesday evening, 89-59.
The Movin' Maroons edged ahead 23-17 after one quarter and led 44-30 at halftime. Dieterich then had a 27-16 third quarter run.
Mallorie Vahling led the charge with 37 points, 15 rebounds, seven steals and eight assists. She connected on 17 two-pointers and was three of four at the line. Courtney Flach also came up big with 25 points and eight assists. Also in double figures was Rachel Schmidt with 16. Schmnidt pulled down five rebounds and had four assists.
The Maroons are back in action tonight at South Central at 6:15. There will only be a varsity contest.
