Bulls Stun Spurs In San Antonio

(San Antonio, TX) -- Jimmy Butler led seven players in double-figures with 19 points as the Bulls stunned the Spurs 96-86 at the AT&T Center. Carlos Boozer posted 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Joakim Noah notched 10 points, 10 boards and eight assists for Chicago, which has alternated wins and losses over its last five games. D.J. Augustin and Taj Gibson added 15 points apiece in the victory.  Tony Parker scored a game-high 20 points to go with six assists for the Spurs, who have lost a season-high three straight and five-of-seven overall. Tim Duncan had 17 points and 12 rebounds in the setback.


Durant Outduels LeBron

(Miami, FL) -- The Kevin Durant and LeBron James matchup lived up to the hype, but the Heat couldn't keep up with the Thunder falling 112-95 at AmericanAirlines Arena.  Durant exploded for 33 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while LeBron matched him with 34 points, three rebounds and three assists. It was Durant's 12th straight 30-point game.  Miami started the game on a 15-2 run, but after Oklahoma City head coach Scott Brooks pulled Kendrick Perkins, the Thunder outscored the Heat, 110-to-80, the rest of the game. Jeremy Lamb and Derek Fisher combined to knocked down 9-of-11 threes off the bench for OKC, which has won nine straight. Chris Bosh added 18 points and nine rebounds for the Heat.  Miami had a three-game winning streak come to an end.  


Raptors Rout Magic Behind Lowry

(Toronto, Ontario) -- Kyle Lowry racked up a season-high 33 points to go with 11 assists and seven rebounds as the Raptors mauled the Magic 98-83 at Air Canada Centre. Amir Johnson added 22 points and 11 boards, while Jonas Valanciunas notched 14 points and 15 rebounds for Toronto, which has won four-of-five.  Terrence Ross, named to the Rising Stars Challenge earlier Wednesday, contributed 12 points and eight boards in the victory. Nikola Vucevic posted 16 points and 10 boards to pace Orlando, which has lost three straight and 15 of its last 17 overall. Jameer Nelson was just 5-of-15 from the field for 13 points and Victor Oladipo, also named to the Rising Stars Challenge, had 12 points on 3-of-14 shooting in defeat.


Turner, Sixers Sink Celtics

(Boston, MA) -- Evan Turner hit a buzzer-beater in the paint as the 76ers sank the Celtics 95-94 at TD Garden. Turner ended with 16 points and eight assists for Philadelphia, which stopped a three-game slide. Spencer Hawes tallied 20 points and eight rebounds for the Sixers. Thaddeus Young totaled 16 points and five assists in the win. Jared Sullinger posted 24 points and 17 rebounds for Boston, which has lost four straight. Jeff Green added 18 points in defeat.


Suns Crush Bucks

(Milwaukee, WI) -- Goran Dragic dropped 30 points with six assists and four rebounds to lead the Suns past the Bucks, 126-117, at the Bradley Center.  Phoenix shot 54-percent from the field and hit 12-of-23 threes on its way to a third straight win. Gerald Green contributed 23 points, while rookie Alex Len added seven points and 10 boards off the bench. Ersan Ilyasova tallied a team-high 27 points in the loss. Brandon Knight finished with 24 points and eight assists for Milwaukee, which has lost four in-a-row and 13-of-14.


Timberwolves Take Out Pelicans

(Minneapolis, MN) -- Kevin Love overwhelmed New Orleans with 30 points and 14 rebounds as the Timberwolves defeated the Pelicans 88-77 at the Target Center.  Kevin Martin added 18 points for the Wolves, who have won five of their last six games to improve to 23-22. Minnesota is over .500 for the first time since it was 8-7 in November.  Al-Farouq Aminu led New Orleans with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Eric Gordon added 14 points. New Orleans dropped to 19-and-26 and had its three-game win streak come to an end.  Anthony Davis missed the game with a dislocated finger.


Rockets Hold Off Mavericks

(Dallas, TX) -- The Rockets avoided an embarrassing collapse when Jose Calderon missed two three-point attempts in the final 10 seconds and the Mavericks fell, 117-115, at American Airlines Center. Houston led by 12 points with less than three minutes left in the game. All five Rockets starters were in double figures led by Chandler Parsons with 26 points.  Dwight Howard added 21, while Jeremy Lin chipped in with 18 points, seven assists and seven rebounds. Houston won its second straight. Dirk Nowitzki went off for 38 points and 17 rebounds in the loss. Vince Carter added 22 points off the bench. Calderon and Monta Ellis combined to shoot 5-of-22 from the field as the Mavs lost for the third time in four tries.


Bobcats Sink Nuggets

(Denver, CO) -- The Bobcats surprised the Nuggets, 101-98, at the Pepsi Center behind 35 points and 11 rebounds from Al Jefferson. Charlotte was without Kemba Walker for the fifth straight game due to an ankle injury. Ramon Sessions and Gerald Henderson each chipped in with 16 points for the Bobcats, who ended a two-game losing streak.  Denver was without guard Ty Lawson, and Nate Robinson left the game in the first quarter with a left knee sprain.  Randy Foye posted 33 points and seven assists while Evan Fournier notched 19 points, six assists and five boards. The Nuggets have lost four of six.


Grizzlies Rock Kings

(Sacramento, CA) -- The Grizzlies continued to roll, defeating the Kings, 99-89, at Sleep Train Arena behind 27 points and 10 assists from Mike Conley. Zach Randolph posted 18 points and seven rebounds as Memphis won its fourth straight.  The Grizz are only a half-game behind the Mavericks for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Isaiah Thomas scored a team-high 24 points with five assists in the loss. Rudy Gay returned after missing three games with 23 points and five assists. Sacramento was still without DeMarcus Cousins. The Kings have lost five in-a-row.


Clippers Top Wizards

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Blake Griffin posted 29 points and nine rebounds to lift the Clippers over the Wizards 110-103 at the STAPLES Center. J.J. Redick added 20 points while DeAndre Jordan had 14 points and 17 rebounds for Los Angeles, which has won four straight. Jamal Crawford tallied 21 points as a reserve in the win. John Wall totaled 19 points and 11 assists for Washington, which went 2-and-2 on its four-game road swing.  Bradley Beal chipped in with 20 points in the loss.
