Heat Hammer Spurs

(Miami, FL) -- Chris Bosh led a balanced attack with 24 points as the Heat hammered the Spurs 113-101 at AmericanAirlines Arena. LeBron James notched 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Mario Chalmers chipped in with 16 points and seven helpers for the Heat, who have won three in-a-row and five-of-six overall. Michael Beasley added 12 points and Norris Cole had 11 in the victory. Tim Duncan posted 23 points to pace San Antonio, which has alternated wins and losses over its last six games. Boris Diaw donated 15 points and Tony Parker tallied 11 points and seven assists in the setback. Heat guard Dwyane Wade made his return from a four-game absence and played 24 minutes while scoring eight points.

Knicks Knock Off Lakers

(New York, NY) -- Coming off his 62-point effort, Carmelo Anthony dropped in a game-high 35 points to lead the Knicks past the Lakers 110-103 at Madison Square Garden. Raymond Felton added 20 points and Tyson Chandler tallied 13 points and 14 rebounds for the Knicks, who have won two in-a-row on the heels of a five-game losing streak. Tim Hardaway Jr. chipped in with 18 points and J.R. Smith scored 16 in the victory. Jodie Meeks netted 24 points, while Pau Gasol posted 20 points and 13 boards for LA, which has lost four straight and 10-of-12 overall. Manny Harris, who was signed to a second 10-day contract before the game, scored 18 points off the bench in the setback.

Suns Torch Cavs

(Cleveland, OH) -- The Suns turned a 18-point halftime deficit into a 99-90 win over the Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena behind 27 points and 15 rebounds from Markieff Morris. Phoenix outscored Cleveland 25-6 in the third quarter and 31-23 in the fourth. Channing Frye hit four threes on his way to 16 points, while Goran Dragic added 15 points, seven assists and five rebounds.  The Suns have won three of four. Cleveland shot 54-percent in the first half followed by a 23-percent second half. Kyrie Irving paced the Cavs with 24 points and nine assists as they have dropped three of their last four.

Pelicans Fly Past Magic

(New Orleans, LA) -- Anthony Davis finished with 22 points, 19 rebounds and seven blocks to lead the Pelicans in a 100-92 win over the Magic in New Orleans.  Tyreke Evans added 23 points with seven rebounds and seven assists off the bench in the victory. Brian Roberts poured in 15 points for New Orleans, which has won three out of four since an eight-game slide. Arron Afflalo led Orlando with 25 points while Victor Oladipo contributed 18 points in defeat. Tobias Harris had 17 points and nine boards for the Magic, who have dropped three out of four.

Pierce, KG Win Return To Boston

(Boston, MA) -- Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett's emotional return to Boston was capped with a Nets 85-79 win against the Celtics at the TD Garden.  Both players received rousing ovations during introductions and an individual video tribute to each at different points in the game. Pierce scored six points on 2-of-10 shooting, while KG also tallied six points, but had a key steal and dunk late in the fourth quarter to help seal the victory. Brooklyn is 10-1 in January. Brandon Bass paced the Celts with 17 points and eight rebounds. Rajon Rondo contributed 13 points, eight assists and eight rebounds as Boston has lost five of six.

Mavericks Maul Pistons

(Dallas, TX) -- Dirk Nowitzki posted 28 points and nine rebounds as the Mavericks topped the Pistons 116-106 in Texas. Devin Harris had 14 points off the bench for Dallas, which shot 58-percent from the floor. Jose Calderon was 7-of-8 from the field for 17 points as the Mavs improved to 26-20. Brandon Jennings scored 26 points with seven assists for Detroit, which dropped to 17-27. Josh Smith added 25 points and eight rebounds while Greg Monroe recorded 20 points and nine boards in the defeat.

Nuggets Clip Kings

(Sacramento, CA) -- Ty Lawson led the way for the Nuggets with 27 points and six assists in their 125-117 victory over the Kings at Sleep Train Arena.  Wilson Chandler chipped in 20 points, while Kenneth Faried tallied 15 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. Denver has two in-a-row to move back above .500 at 22-21. Sacramento was without DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay. Isaiah Thomas posted a team-high 22 points with eight assists in the loss. Ben McLemore contributed 18 off the bench as the Kings lost their third straight and five of six.

Warriors Romp Blazers

(Oakland, CA) -- Stephen Curry exploded for 38 points, eight assists and seven rebounds as the Warriors crushed the Trail Blazers, 103-88, at ORACLE Arena.  David Lee added 17 points and 12 rebounds for Golden State, which was 2-and-5 in its last seven games before the victory. LaMarcus Aldridge shot 2-of-14 from the field with 10 points and 11 rebounds in the loss. Wesley Matthews paced Portland with 21 points. The Blazers had a two-game winning streak snapped.

Bulls Host T'wolves Tonight

(Chicago, IL) -- The Bulls welcome the Minnesota Timberwolves to town tonight. Chicago moved to 22-21 with a win over the Bobcats on Saturday. Minnesota is 21-22 after falling at Portland Saturday night. Tip from the United Center is set for 7:00.
