Bulls Edge Magic In Triple-OT
(Orlando, FL) -- Joakim Noah racked up 26 points and 19 rebounds as the Bulls outlasted the Magic 128-125 in triple-overtime at Amway Center. Carlos Boozer netted 23 points, while Jimmy Butler posted 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists for Chicago, which has won six of its last seven games. Butler played 60 of a possible 63 minutes. D.J. Augustin added 19 points and nine assists off the bench in the victory. Victor Oladipo dropped in a career-high 35 points for the Magic, who have dropped nine in-a-row. Jameer Nelson recorded 31 points, 10 assists and six boards and Tobias Harris had 22 points and 16 rebounds in defeat.
Wizards Crush Heat
(Washington, DC) -- The Wizards stormed out to a 43-18 lead at the end of the first quarter and held on for a 114-97 win over the Heat at the Verizon Center. John Wall led the way with 25 points, nine assists and five boards, Nene Hilario contributed 19 points, nine helpers and four boards for Washington, which has won two in-a-row. Miami cut the lead all the way down to nine in the second half, but that was as close as they would get. Greg Oden played in a regular season game for the first time since 2009. Oden finished with six points and two rebounds in eight minutes. LeBron James posted 25 points with eight rebounds and seven assists, while Chris Bosh scored a team-high 26 points. The Heat have lost three straight.
Young Lifts Sixers Past Bobcats
(Philadelphia, PA) -- Thaddeus Young nailed a go-ahead three-pointer with 3.2-seconds left to lift the 76ers past the Bobcats 95-92 at Wells Fargo Center. Evan Turner notched 23 points and seven rebounds, while Spencer Hawes racked up 17 points, 14 boards and seven helpers for the Sixers, who snapped a four-game losing streak. Michael Carter-Williams chipped in with 20 points, eight boards and seven assists in the victory. Kemba Walker posted a game-high 26 points to go with eight assists and five boards to pace Charlotte, which has lost nine-of-11. Al Jefferson had 24 points and eight rebounds in the setback.
Pelicans Falter Against Rockets
(New Orleans, LA) -- Darius Miler missed a three pointer in the closing moments as the Rockets snuck past the Pelicans, 103-100, in New Orleans. Houston overcame an 11-point halftime deficit behind 26 points and seven assists from James Harden. Terrence Jones added 25 points, eight rebounds and six blocks for the Rockets, who have three in-a-row and five of six. Eric Gordon exploded with 35 points and six threes in the loss. Anthony Davis tallied 24 points and seven boards. New Orleans has lost seven in-a-row.
Kings Crown T'wolves
(Minneapolis, MN) -- Rudy Gay posted 33 points, six assists and five rebounds as the Kings escaped Minnesota with a 111-108 win over the Timberwolves. Isaiah Thomas chipped in with 26 points and seven assists for Sacramento, which has won four-of-five. DeMarcus Cousins helped out with 20 points and 11 boards in the win. Kevin Love had 27 points, 11 rebounds and five assists for Minnesota, which has lost three-of-four. Nikola Pekovic added 14 points and eight boards in the loss.
Grizzlies Beat Bucks
(Milwaukee, WI) -- Mike Conley posted 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists to lead the Grizzlies to an 82-77 win over the Bucks at the Bradley Center. James Johnson added 15 points, six rebounds, six blocks and five assists off the bench for Memphis, which has won four straight. Ed Davis registered 14 points and nine rebounds also as a reserve for the Grizz. Brandon Knight poured in a game-best 27 points for Milwaukee, which has lost seven in-a-row. Larry Sanders chipped in with 10 points and 12 boards for the losing side.
Suns Top Lakers
(Phoenix, AZ) -- Gerald Green poured in a game-high 28 points as the Suns topped the Lakers 121-114 at US Airways Center. Markieff Morris netted 24 points, while Goran Dragic donated 18 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists for the Suns, who snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 3-and-0 against the Lakers this season Channing Frye chipped in with 20 points and eight boards in the victory. Pau Gasol recorded 24 points and nine rebounds for LA, while Wesley Johnson scored 22 points against his former team. Kendall Marshall, who was drafted 13th overall by Phoenix in 2012, had 10 points and 13 assists in the setback. The Lakers have lost six straight and 12 of their last 13 overall.
Blazers Dump Cavaliers
(Portland, OR) -- The Trail Blazers closed out the fourth quarter on a 12-0 run to put down the Cavaliers, 108-96, at the Moda Center. LaMarcus Aldridge went off for 32 points and 18 rebounds while Damian Lillard sunk five threes on his way to 28 points. Portland has won three in-a-row. Luol Deng scored a team-high 25 points in the loss. Dion Waiters added 18 points off the bench, and Kyrie Irving missed 13-of-20 shots but still chipped in with 21 points. The Cavs are 2-2 in their last four games.
Nuggets Knock Off Warriors
(Oakland, CA) -- Nate Robinson scored 14 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter as the Nuggets earned a 123-116 win over the Warriors in Oakland. Ty Lawson had 22 points and 11 assists while Wilson Chandler had 22 points as well for Denver, which has won six-of-seven. J.J. Hickson helped out with 13 points and 24 rebounds in the win. Steph Curry totaled 24 points and seven assists for Golden State, which has lost two-of-three. David Lee tallied 28 points and 11 rebounds in the loss while Klay Thompson had 21 points.
Clippers Pull Past Mavericks
(Los Angeles, CA) -- In a wild back and forth game the Clippers pulled out a 129-127 win over the Mavs at the STAPLES Center behind 33 points from J.J. Redick. Los Angeles closed the game out on a 23-to-4 run after Dallas opened the fourth quarter with a 25-to-6 spurt. Dallas forward Dirk Nowitzki scored a team-high 27 points with eight rebounds, but missed all six shots he attempted in the final quarter. Monta Ellis tallied a double-double with 13 points and 13 assists. The Mavs had a three-game winning streak end and head to Phoenix to face the Suns Friday.
Spurs Hold Off Jazz
(San Antonio, TX) -- Tony Parker led six players in double-figures with 25 points as the Spurs held on to beat the Jazz 109-105 at the AT&T Center. Enes Kanter recorded 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead Utah, dropped to 13-27. Derrick Favors notched 19 points and 12 boards while Trey Burke donated 17 points and 11 assists in the setback.
Celtics Top Toronto
(Boston, MA) -- Jared Sullinger posted 25 points and 20 rebounds as the Celtics clipped the Raptors 88-83 in Boston. Avery Bradley had 20 points and five boards for Boston, which moved to 14-and-26 on the season. The Celtics host the Lakers tomorrow night.
