First Day Results from Dieterich Girls Tournament

Here are the results from Thursday action at the Dieterich Girls Holiday Tournament:

Dieterich 55, South Central 20 (Courtney Flach with 20 points, Mallorie Vahling with 18 and Rachel Schmidt with 11 points led Dieterich to the win. Elizabeth Abbott added four points and Hanna Ruholl scored two points.  For South Central, Abby Hahn scored 10 points, Bailey Ritter and Alannah Sigrist four points each, and Abby King two)

Casey-Westfield 80, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 48 (Chandler Ward with 12 and Kirby Herrmann with 10 points led CHBC.  Also for the Hornets: Jensyn Morrison eight, Caitlin Sloan six, Skylar Morrison and Ashley Miller four each, and Summer Riley and Felicia Johnson two each)

North Clay 62, Brownstown/St. Elmo 49 (for North Clay, five players in double figures: Kortney Stanfield with 14, Carrsan Bible with 12, Mikayla Stanfield and Rachel Smith each with 11, and Morgan Walker with 10.  Miranda Lovett added four points.  For Browntown/St. Elmo: Audrianna Pruett scored 13 points, Morgan Brown 10, Dani Austin nine, Emily Bone six, Kyrstyn Fitch five, Bethany Oberlink four, Molly Hill two)

Arcola 41, South Central 22 (for South Central: Alannah Sigrist nine, Abby Hahn eight, Abby King two, Autumn McCoy two and Bailey Ritter one)

North Clay 56, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 45 (Kortney Stanfield with 18 points and Carrsan Bible with 16 points led North Clay.  Also for the Lady Cardinals: Rachel Smith eight, Mikayla Stanfield six, Morgan Walker six, Teehanna Wyatt two; for CHBC: Jensyn Morrison 15, Chandler Ward and Kirby Herrmann 10 each, Chloe Meek six, Caitlin Sloan and Emma Wehrle two each)

Newton 56, Dieterich 38 (for Newton, Andrea Cartwright led the way with 14 points and Ariel Richards added 10 points; also for Newton: Lexie Davidson nine, Emily Kerner seven, Brooke Koebele six, Allison Will six, Marcy Probst four; for Dieterich: Mallorie Vahling led with 14 points; also for Dieterich: Courtney Flach nine, Kallee Heuerman five, Elizabeth Abbott and Rachel Schmidt four each, Madison Bannick two)
