Knicks Hold Off Bulls

(New York, NY) -- The Knicks almost blew a 23-point lead, but snuck past the Bulls, 83-78, in an ugly contest at Madison Square Garden.  Carmelo Anthony led the way 30 points and 10 rebounds, while the rest of the starting lineup only scored 17 points. Amar'e Stoudemire added 14 and nine boards off the bench.  New York ended a two-game losing streak. Chicago shot 33-percent from the field and turned the ball over 22 times. Mike Dunleavy dialed up 20 points, but only hit 7-of-24 shots. The Bulls have lost three in-a-row and five of their last six.

The Bulls are hoping to find a lift for their offense. Yahoo Sports reports Chicago is set to sign guard D.J. Augustin after he was waived by the Raptors on Monday. Augustin played limited minutes this season. With Derrick Rose out, Chicago has missed Nate Robinson, who signed with the Nuggets during the offseason.    

Magic Beat Bobcats To Snap Six-Game Skid

(Charlotte, NC) -- Glen Davis recorded 17 points and 12 rebounds and Jameer Nelson also scored 17 points as the Magic beat the Bobcats 92-83 at Time Warner Cable Arena.  Nikola Vucevic notched 12 points and 14 boards, while Arron Afflalo added 16 points for Orlando, which put an end to its six-game losing streak. Victor Oladipo, Andrew Nicholson and E'Twaun Moore all donated 10 points in the victory. Al Jefferson posted 10 points and 11 boards to lead the 'Cats, who had won their previous two. Gerald Henderson had a team-best 12 points in defeat.

Clippers Trip Up Celtics

(Boston, MA) -- Chris Paul filled up the box score with 22 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and two steals in the Clippers 96-88 victory over the Celtics at the TD Garden. Los Angeles outscored Boston by 14 in the second half to help Doc Rivers secure his return to trip to his former stomping grounds. Rivers was honored before the game started. Jamal Crawford added 21 off the bench, while Blake Griffin chipped in 18 points, seven rebounds and four assists. LA has won three of four. Jeff Green posted 29 points in the loss. Jordan Crawford just missed out on a double-double with 20 points and nine assists. The Celtics have lost two in-a-row.

Pelicans Slip Past Pistons In OT

(New Orleans, LA) -- Jason Smith racked up 22 points and 16 rebounds as the Pelicans slipped past the Pistons 111-106 in overtime at New Orleans Arena.  Ryan Anderson also scored 22 points, while Jrue Holiday added 19 points and eight assists for the Pelicans, who snapped a two-game skid and evened their record at 10-10. Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans both had 14 points in the victory. Greg Monroe netted a game-high 28 points to go with 10 boards for Detroit, which has lost three straight since a four-game winning streak. Brandon Jennings dropped in 25 points and Andre Drummond donated 10 points and 11 boards in defeat.

T'wolves Use Big Second Half To Top Sixers

(Minneapolis, MN) -- Kevin Love recorded game-highs of 26 points and 15 rebounds as the Timberwolves used a big second half to top the 76ers 106-99 at Target Center. Minnesota erased a 13-point halftime deficit, outscoring Philly 58-38 after the break.  Ricky Rubio added 21 points, seven assists and five boards for the T'wolves, who have won two in-a-row to even their record at 11-11. Nikola Pekovic posted 20 points and 10 boards in the victory. Spencer Hawes and Tony Wroten scored 20 points apiece for the Sixers, who have lost four straight and 12 of their last 14 overall. Thaddeus Young and James Anderson both added 16 points in the setback.

Spurs Romp Bucks

(Milwaukee, WI) -- Tim Duncan went off for 21 points and 16 rebounds to help the Spurs dominate the Bucks, 109-77, at the Bradley Center. Tony Parker chipped in 15 points. San Antonio shot 52-percent from the field on its way to a second straight win. None of Milwaukee's starters scored in double figures. Nate Wolters scored a team-high 18 points with seven assists off the bench. The Bucks fell to 5-17.

Jazz Crush Kings In Sacramento

(Sacramento, CA) -- Richard Jefferson led five players in double-figures with 20 points as the Jazz crushed the Kings 122-101 in Sacramento. Derrick Favors, Gordon Hayward and Alec Burks all had 17 points for Utah, which snapped a four-game skid and improved to 5-19 on the season. Trey Burke donated 11 points and nine assists in the victory. DeMarcus Cousins had game-high's of 21 points and 11 boards for the Kings, who have dropped seven-of-nine. Isaiah Thomas tallied 20 points in the setback.

Warriors Sink Mavs In Closing Moments

(Oakland, CA) -- Steph Curry drained a mid-range jumper with 1.5 seconds left to lift the Warriors to a 95-93 win against the Mavericks at ORACLE Arena.  Curry scored 14 of his 33 points in the final six minutes of the fourth quarter and hit 6-of-11 threes. Golden State outscored Dallas by 13 in the second half. Harrison Barnes chipped in 17 points as the Warriors improved to 13-10. Monta Ellis posted 21 points, five assists and four rebounds opposite his former team. Dirk Nowitzki contributed 21 points with seven boards for Dallas, which is also 13-10.
