T-town Takes Two Junior High Boys Wins, Area Roundup

TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis Junior High School picked up two boys basketball victories over Dieterich Monday evening.
T-town won the seventh-grade contest 47-10 with a 21-2 opening quarter run. Jarrett Hardiek tallied 13 to lead the winners. Evan Bohnhoff and Seth Bohnhoff had four points each for Dieterich.
In eighth-grade play, T-town was a 51-27 winner. Lee Hardiek scored 16 and Eric Kremer 13 for the winners. Higgs led Dieterich with six.

St. Elmo/Brownstown claimed two wins over Beecher City. SE/B won the seventh-grade contest 26-14. Aderman tallied 10 for the winners. Mason Stewart led Beecher City (0-8) with seven.
In eighth-grade action, St. Elmo/Brownstown scored a 50-17 win over Dieterich. SE/B was led by Brown with 22 points. Beecher City (0-8) was led by Kaleb Doty and Derek Duckwitz with six each.

Windsor and Stewardson-Strasburg split victories. Windsor claimed the seventh-grade contest 29-14. Beck led the way with eight points. Stew-Stras was led by Kirby with six. Stew-Stras drops to 1-2 in the National Trail Conference, 2-5 overall.
In eighth-grade game, Stew-Stras was a 65-29 winner. Stew-Stras held a 31-18 halftime lead. Kessler scored a whopping 30 points for the winners while Hansen tallied 11 and Thies 10. Windsor was led by G. Bennett with 13. Stew-Stras is now 3-0 in the conference, 6-1 overall.
